My fascination with vampire stories began long ago when I was first introduced to Anne Rice's renowned novel, Interview with the Vampire. The elegance and sophistication of Anne’s characters- were the inspiration for this year’s theme- A Vampire’s Dinner. This particular party is hauntingly beautiful and features a black and burgundy table-scape that captures the allure and beauty of its mysterious host - Countess Von Bitten.

We start by creating a spooky yet elegant ambiance with a captivating and luxurious color palette. Our chosen theme includes burgundy, purple, ivory, black, and gold. A dark and an eerie vampire-themed cake sits atop a haunting bouquet of burgundy hydrangeas and black roses. Gold candelabras, ivory and black skull candles illuminate our setting. The table is adorned with chic lace-patterned black bat dessert plates, clear glass fluted wine goblets, and elegant gold flatware. With our table artfully styled, it’s time to create a terrifyingly terrific vampire-inspired menu.
Welcome your guests with a Countess’ Cravings of the Flesh charcuterie board, beautifully arranged with assorted meats and vibrant fruits, perfectly paired with an enticing Drac’s Kiss cocktail with a bite of strawberry flavor. While these scrumptious recipes are for mere mortals, they are sure to delight even a ravenous creature of the night. The finishing touch, a decadent vampire-inspired chocolate cake, that guests will be delighted to sink their teeth into. This monstrosity consists of eggs, buttercream frosting and devils food cake.
